david versus GOLIATH flapcard for Serafini, contractor atelier522 in 2008. We had a brainstorming about what to create/design for our client Serafini in order to place products of the company towards the cashier’s desks for less than 10,00 – knowing that if clients are in a cue waiting to be served, they might notice this little gem to just purchase it & having the side-effect of getting to know about our client Serafini – their main business is producing & trading of shop systems.

Concret CQ – a letter box made of concrete for Serafini, contractor atelier522 in 2007. Both Ulrich Maasmeier & I had been asked to design letter boxes made of concrete. I can still remember pretty well how Ulrich aka Uli asked the question about what it actually needs for a postman to deliver & leave a letter & the recipient of letters/magazines/etc. He simply said that there might be a singular answer to it: does a letter box really need 2 lids: one for bringing in & one for taking out,…. heaven yeah, so he helped me to simply create one mechanic that delivers both: hey waitta minute mr. postman & the receiver. One similar turn of the lid to be <posted>/delivered & one for the taking out. A lot of sophisticated design oriented companies have taken over his/our idea ever since,…hehe. But Uli’s been the first one to deliver. The design of this letter box follows upon Bauhaus minimalisms, the inner lid, the outer contour of concrete. That’s what it is, keep it simple bubbas & sissies,…lol
